Fiatal zenei tehetségek
Lukács Angéla énekel

A Somogyi-könyvtár fiatal zenei tehetségeket bemutató sorozatában bemutatkozik Lukács Angéla, a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Zeneművészeti Karának opera mesterszakos növendéke, a legkiemelkedőbb képességekkel rendelkező hallgatókat támogató SZTE Tehetségpont tagja. Lukács Angélát többek között már a szegedi Kisszínház és a fővárosi Művészetek Palotája közönsége is hallhatta.
A rendezvény vendége Tóth Jonathan, a budapesti Madách Musical Tánc- és Zeneművészeti Iskola hallgatója. Az est háziasszonya Vajda Júlia, a Szegedi Nemzeti Színház Liszt-díjas magánénekese. Zongorán közreműködik Koczka Ferenc. A műsorban Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Liszt Ferenc és Kálmán Imre művei mellett népszerű musical-dalokat is hallhatnak az érdeklődők.

Kossuth, olimpia, kocsmatúra

Kossuth Lajos szegedi és amerikai működéséről, az olimpiai játékok szegedi hőseiről és Szeged „irodalmi kocsmáiról” szóló programokkal várja novemberben az érdeklődőket a Somogyi-könyvtár.

Hányszor járt Kossuth Szegeden? Honnan mondta el híres – „Szegednek népe, nemzetem büszkesége…” – kezdetű beszédét? Fizetőeszköz volt-e a Kossuth-dollár és milyen címletekben adták ki? Hány Kossuth-nevű település létezik ma az Egyesült Államokban? – ezekre a kérdésekre is választ kapnak az érdeklődők a Kossuth-emlékek Szegeden és Amerikában című könyvtári programon, amelynek anyagát az „amerikás” magyarokról szóló dokumentumokból álló Vasváry-gyűjtemény kincseiből válogattuk. A rendezvény november 10-én, csütörtökön délután 5 órakor kezdődik a Somogyi-könyvtár harmadik emeleti olvasótermében.

Ki volt az a szegedi kötődésű sportoló, aki három számban (tenisz, birkózás, súlyemelés) indult az 1896-os athéni olimpián? Ki volt az a magasugró, aki az első „szegedi olimpiai érmet szerezte? Az újkori olimpiákon városunknak dicsőséget szerző sportemberekről lesz szó Az olimpiák szegedi hősei című előadáson, amely november 16-án, szerdán délután 5 órakor kezdődik a Somogyi-könyvtár harmadik emeleti olvasótermében.

Mely szegedi vendéglőkben, borozókban múlatták szívesen idejüket a város írói, poétái, szerkesztői? A Somogyi-könyvtárból induló séta során a város kultúrtörténetében fontos szerepet betöltő vendéglátóhelyekről hallhatunk érdekes anekdotákat. Megismerhetjük a legfontosabb irodalmi emlékhelyeket, kávéházakat, s az útközben megemlékezünk a Szegedhez kapcsolódó írókról, költőkről is. Az irodalmi kocsmatúra november 22-én, kedden a Somogyi-könyvtár épülete elől indul.

Az egyetemi hallgatók számára is meghirdetett Biblio-bónusz programok nyilvánosak, a szervezők szeretettel várnak minden érdeklődőt!

Vásárhelyi Körtánc – antológia, bemutató

A hódmezővásárhelyi Kárász József Alapítvány Irodalmi Köre alkotóinak írásait gyűjti egybe a frissen megjelent Vásárhelyi Körtánc antológia. A kötetet a Somogyi-könyvtár alagsori klubjában mutatják be november 11-én, pénteken délután 5 órai kezdettel.
Közreműködnek: Arany-Tóth Katalin Kárász József-díjas költő, Dani Imre nívódíjas költő, dalszerző, Fehér József MINSZ-nagydíjas író, költő, valamint Haranghy Géza Kárász József-díjas költő.

3. Szegedi Képregényfesztivál és Konferencia

Az idén immár harmadik alkalommal rendezi meg a szegedi Somogyi-könyvtár az elmúlt két évben sikert aratott Szegedi Képregényfesztivált, amelyhez az SZTE Könyvtár- és Múzeumpedagógiai Szakcsoportjának szervezésében konferencia is kapcsolódik A vonal üzenete: képi ábrázolás szerepe az olvasáskultúra fejlesztése érdekében címmel.
A kétnapos rendezvényen jeles hazai és külföldi szakértők előadásait hallhatjuk majd, valamint jelen lesznek napjaink magyar képregény-kultúráját meghatározó alkotók is.

Olvasás és manga

A vonal üzenete című konferencia egyik vendég-előadója a japán származású, Franciaországban tevékenykedő Pierre SERY. Innovációs és tudományos fejlesztések vezetője, jogi informatikát tanít az egyetemen, mindezek mellett pedig manga- és képregénykiadó. Sokoldalúságát mutatja, hogy mindemellett még szenvedélyes zongorista, valamint gyakorló kézilabda játékos.
Pierre SERY A fiatalok olvasási kedvének befolyásolása Franciaországban a manga és a képregény segítségével című előadása november 18-án, pénteken 11.30-kor kezdődik.
Az elhangzottak magyar nyelvű tolmácsolójaként közreműködik Bayer Antal fordító, szerkesztő, szakíró és nyelvtanár, a Magyar Képregénykiadók Szövetsége első elnöke, aki előadóként is résztvevője a programsorozatnak.

Karikatúra-kiállítás az Internet-Térben

„…ugye megmondtam, hogy az irodalom gazdaggá tesz….?” címmel karikatúra-kiállítást rendeznek a képregényfesztivál kapcsán Philippe Delestre francia újságíró és grafikus válogatott munkáiból a Somogyi-könyvtár fölszintjéről nyíló Internet-Térben. Az alkotó könyves karikatúráit idén Franciaországban a nemzeti kulturális örökség részévé nyilvánították.

Francia-belga képregények

Bande dessinée – címmel kamara-kiállítás illusztrálja a francia-belga képregények változatos művészi, tartalmi és technikai megjelenési formáit. A bemutató a Somogyi-könyvtár második emeleti kölcsönzőterében, november 14-19-ig tekinthető meg.

Zórád Ernő, „az utolsó pesti bohém”

Októberben lenne 100 éves Zórád Ernő, a magyar képregény-műfaj klasszikusa, festő, grafikus, számos könyv illusztrátora, diafilmek sokaságának alkotója.

A 3. Szegedi Képregényfesztivál kiállítással, vetítéssel egybekötött előadásokkal tiszteleg a Tabán festője, „az utolsó pesti bohém”, eredeti nevén báró Wallburg Egon előtt, akinek első műve, az 1957-es Winnetou egyben az első magyar szóbuborékos képregény is volt, és megjelenése után Zórád a műfaj egyik legismertebb és legnagyobb hatású magyar képviselője lett.

Luke sings Angela

Somogyi Library The young musical talent show series debuts Angela Luke, University of Szeged Faculty of Music student opera masterpiece intermittent, the most significant capabilities in support of Department of Gifted Students point a member. Kossuth, Olympics, pub tour

Lajos Kossuth and the U.S. operation of Szeged, Szeged, heroes of the Olympic Games and Szeged “literary pubs” on November programs for those interested in the Somogyi Library.

The Hódmezővásárhely Kárász Joseph Foundation Literary Circle brings together the writings of the creators of the recently published anthology Vasarhelyi Circle Dance. The volume of the Somogyi Library basement club show on November 11 and Friday, starting at 5 pm.

third Szegedi Comics Festival and Conference
