Júniusban tárgyalja az ET
Napirenden a hazánk elleni monitoring eljárás kérdése

Az Európa Tanács (ET) parlamenti közgyűlésének júniusi ülésén fontos napirendi téma lesz az, hogy elrendeljék-e a Magyarország elleni monitoring eljárást, a parlamenti közgyűlés házbizottsága ugyanis a monitoring bizottsággal szemben ellenzi egy ilyen eljárás elindítását.

A Magyarországgal szembeni eljárás megindításának napirendre tűzése mellett tette le a voksát komoly többséggel áprilisban Strasbourgban a parlamenti közgyűlés monitoring bizottsága.

Most csütörtökön Jerevánban a parlamenti közgyűlés frakcióvezetőiből álló házbizottság – ET-szóhasználattal: a “Büro” – ülésezett, és vitatta meg a június végén Strasbourgban tartandó parlamenti közgyűlési ülésszak napirendjét.

Ennek keretében a “Büro” ellenezte, hogy Magyarország ellen monitoring eljárást indítsanak. Ilyen esetekben, amikor a két testület véleménye nem egyezik, a szabályok értelmében az ET parlamenti közgyűlésének ülésszakán, a plenáris vitában kell döntést hozni.
