Ismeretlen ókori királyné sírját fedezték fel Egyiptomban

Eddig ismeretlen, 4500 évvel ezelőtt uralkodó egyiptomi királyné sírját fedezték fel cseh régészek Kairótól délnyugatra, a gízai piramisoktól nem messze – jelentette be vasárnap Mamdúh ed-Damáti egyiptomi műemlékvédelmi miniszter.

III. Hentkauesz sírját Abu Szírban, az ókori Memphisz nekropoliszában találták meg, amelynek közelében több V. dinasztiabeli (i.e. 2495-2345) fáraó piramisa is található. A sírkamra falán olvasható feliratok szerint az elhunyt a körülbelül i.e. 2460 és 2458 között uralkodó Noferefré fáraó felesége volt.

A királyné létezése sem volt ismert eddig, így a felfedezés fontos elemekkel gyarapítja az V. dinasztiára vonatkozó ismereteket – hangsúlyozta közleményében a műemlékvédelmi miniszter. A sírkamra építésén dolgozó munkások nemcsak a királyné nevét, hanem minden titulusát ráírták a falakra.

Egyiptomban a IV. és az V. dinasztia idején épültek az első piramisok. A királyné sírját egy kis temetőben találták, Noferefré fáraó 1990-es években felfedezett temetkezési helyétől délkeletre. A sírból 24 mészkő szobor, illetve használati tárgy, és további négy réztárgy került elő.

A felfedezést a Miroslav Barta vezette cseh régészeti expedíció tette az egyiptomi műemlékvédelmi minisztériummal közösen. Cseh régészek tavaly márciusban ugyancsak Abu-Szírban megtalálták egy V. dinasztia korabeli magas rangú pap, Nefer szarkofágját és múmiáját.
