Orbán Viktor személyesen fogja megvédeni Magyarországot az Európai Parlamentben

Orbán Viktor személyesen vesz részt szeptember 11-én az Európai Parlament plenáris ülésén, melyen a Sargentini-jelentés vitáját tartják. A dokumentumról másnap szavaz a parlament Strasbourgban – írja a Magyar Idők.

Erre a reális esély nagyjából a nullával egyenlő.

A kvótarendszer azóta lekerült a napirendről, a magyar álláspont mellett több állam is felsorakozott.

Legutóbb Brüsszelben a Magyarországgal szemben indított kötelezettségszegési eljárás vitája során a migrációs kvóták ügyében tartott előadást és válaszolt kérdésekre, egyenlő mércét követelve Magyarországnak.

Orbán Viktor 2013-ban a szintén a magyar jogállam miatt „aggódó” Tavares-jelentés idején is személyesen utazott Strasbourgba, az akkori vita során a miniszterelnök visszautasította, hogy az Európai Parlament gyámság alá vegye Magyarországot.

Viktor Orbán will personally defend Hungary in the European Parliament

Viktor Orbán will be personally attending the plenary session of the European Parliament on September 11, which will hold a debate on the Sargentini report. The document is voted the next day in Strasbourg – writes Hungarian Times. The fact that the prime minister personally participates in the debate, later Bertalan Havasi, Prime Minister of the Prime Minister, confirmed to MTI.

Judith Sargentini prepared a report on the Hungarian Rule of Law as a representative of the European Green Party, which was adopted in June by the European Parliament’s Committee on Citizens’ Freedoms and Rights, LIBE, with 37 members and 19 votes in favor.

The document raises the possibility of withdrawing voting rights from Hungary.

This realistic chance is roughly equal to zero.

According to the report, the freedom of the country is supposedly narrowed in Hungary, but the letter detailing the Hungarian position did not have any effect at all.

Viktor Orbán spoke on the report in Budapest, pointing out that in a document that could be cited as the Soros report, they wanted to exert pressure on Hungary to change their opinion on the migration issue, but this will not succeed. The quota system has since been removed from the agenda, alongside the Hungarian position, several states have lined up.

The European Union institutions have been attacking Budapest for many occasions, and Orban has defended our country several times. Most recently, in Brussels, the dispute over infringement proceedings against Hungary demanded a level playing field for migration quotas and answering questions to Hungary.

In 2013, Viktor Orbán also traveled personally to Strasbourg during the “worried” Tavares report, which was also due to the Hungarian rule of law. At that time, the Prime Minister rejected the European Parliament’s guardianship of Hungary.
