Váratlan fordulat: München polgármestere beállt a Fidesz törvénye ellen tiltakozó petíció mögé, kitolhatnak Orbánnal//Unexpected turn: the mayor of Munich has stood behind a petition protesting against Fidesz’s law, they may push with Orban

A petition was launched in Germany a few days ago to get its publishers to receive rainbow lighting at the Munich stadium during next week’s German-Hungarian European Championships.
Anemets thus protest against the anti-gay propaganda law created by Fidesz on the Russian model. The number of signatories has reached 57,000 in a day and a half, and the case has received unexpected supporters:
according to an article in the German newspaper Spiegel, the mayor of Munich also supports the action, and the city council has lined up behind him.
Mayor Dieter Reiter says they want to send a strong message that the city of Munich stands for diversity and tolerance. Reiter would like to submit a formal application to UEFA on behalf of the city as soon as possible before Wednesday’s game, early in the week.
If the stadium lighting is even in question, it already looks certain that Munich City Hall will be hoisted with rainbow flags on the day of the match.
“The match between the German and Hungarian national teams is an important opportunity for Munich to show its solidarity with the Hungarian LGBTI community, who are the victims of homophobic and transphobic regulation by the Hungarian government.”
