Azt nem tudni, hogy itt élnek-e, de a jelek szerint mindegyiküknek fontos állomás volt menekülése után a magyar főváros. 

Viktor Janukovics Kreml-közeli ukrán exelnök sokáig nemzetközi körözés alatt álló két minisztere, Mikola Priszjazsnyuk és Eduard Sztavitszki nyomára bukkant a napi.hu egy fővárosi ingatlan mögötti szövevényes offshore-céghálóban. Az nem világos, hogy  a magyar hatóságok milyen lépéseket tettek, de a közelükben lévő vagyontárgyakat biztosan nem fagyasztották be. A két politikus ellen különböző privatizációs és korrupciógyanús ügyek miatt máig nyomoznak az ukrán hatóságok.

Az eset nem példa nélküli, ugyanis a 2014-es után Majdan után több oroszbarát ukrajnai politikus is azért vette útját Budapest felé, mert könnyű magyar útlevelet szerezni a kettős állampolgárság és az egyszerűsített honosítási eljárás miatt. 

Mikola Priszjazsnyuk agrárminiszter volt a Janukovics-kormányban, a koronavírus miatti lezárások idején többször is felbukkant a magyar fővárosban úgy, hogy már régóta a családjához köthető cégháló a tulajdonosa az Andrássy úti Tildy-palotának. 

 Az épületet az ETTN Hungary Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. nevű ír hátterű cégtől vették meg 2008-ban a Tuzs-Ing Kereskedelmi Kft. mögött felsorakozó ukrán vásárlók, köztük az exminiszter öccse, Borisz Priszjasnyuk 4,5 millió euróért, akkori árfolyamon 1,2-1,4 milliárd forintért. Bár azután, hogy Viktor Janukovics megbukott, ukrán kérésre a nyugati országok kormánya több tagját is szankciókkal sújtották – így azt a Mikola Priszjazsnyukot is, akinek a neve szerepel amerikai, EU-s és svájci szankciós listán is, magyaron azonban nem – a Tildy-palota maradhatott az ukrán exminiszter családi tulajdonában. A magyar hatóságok ugyan tisztában voltak azzal, hogy a két ukrán exminiszter járt Budapesten, figyelték is őket, de ezt nem követte szankció, például vagyonbefagyasztás vagy másfajta lépés.

Az egykor energetikai és ásványkincsekért felelős Eduard Sztavitszkiről azt tudni, hogy Nathan Rosenberg néven Izraelben él, ahol  többször is lefotózták. Az ellene felhozott vádakat az Interpol is megalapozottnak találta, nemzetközi körözést adott ki ellene 2014-ben.

It is not known whether they live here, but it seems that the Hungarian capital was an important stop for all of them after their escape.

Viktor Yanukovych’s two Ukrainian ministers near the Kremlin, who have been under international scrutiny for a long time, have been tracked down by daily.hu in a tangled offshore network behind a capital city property. It is not clear what steps the Hungarian authorities have taken, but the assets in their vicinity have certainly not been frozen. The two politicians are still being investigated by the Ukrainian authorities over various privatization and corruption cases.

The case is not unprecedented, as after 2014 Majdan, several pro-Russian Ukrainian politicians also set out for Budapest because it is easy to obtain a Hungarian passport due to dual citizenship and the simplified naturalization procedure.

Mikola Priszjanyuk was the Minister of Agriculture in the Yanukovych government.

The building was purchased from ETTN Hungary Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. In 2008 by Ukrainian customers lined up behind Tuzs-Ing Kereskedelmi Kft. For HUF 1.4 billion. Although after the fall of Viktor Yanukovych, several members of the Western government were sanctioned at the request of Ukraine, including Mykola Priszazhukuk, whose name is on the US, EU and Swiss sanctions lists, but not in Hungary – Tildy Palace may have remained in the family property of the Ukrainian former minister. Although the Hungarian authorities were aware that the two Ukrainian ex-ministers were in Budapest and were watching, this was not followed by any sanctions, such as a freeze on assets or any other move.

It is known that Eduard Stavitsky, once responsible for energy and mineral resources, lives in Israel as Nathan Rosenberg, where he has been photographed several times. The allegations against him were also found to be well-founded by Interpol, which issued an international roundup in 2014.
