A fedélzeten hét ember utazott.

A piece of the Challenger space shuttle was found in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida, reports CBS. Challenger was launched on January 28, 1986, but malfunctioned and exploded shortly after launch. There were seven people on board.

NASA said in a statement that the space shuttle piece was discovered by History Channel film divers who were searching the water for the wreckage of a World War II aircraft. The channel also published a video about the discovery:

This is the first time in the last twenty-five years that the wreckage of the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger has been found. NASA wrote that they are still thinking about what to do with the discovered piece. What is certain is that, by law, any such object is the property of the United States.
