Súlyos állítást fogalmazott meg kedden Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield francia zöldpárti politikus, aki az Európai Parlament magyarországi ügyekkel foglalkozó jelentéstevője. Az uniós politikus azt mondta, szerinte a magyar titkosszolgálatok direkt szivárogtatnak ki bizonyos adatokat az oroszoknak.

Az EP jelentéstevője egy panelbeszélgetésen vett részt Brüsszelben. Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield kifejtette, a magyarországi politikai fejlemények nemcsak a korrupció és a demokrácia szempontjából aggasztók, hanem azért is, mert szerinte a magyar szakszolgálatok az oroszoknak szivárogtatnak, ami súlyos biztonsági kockázatot jelent az egész EU-ra nézve.

– állította a politikus a beszélgetésen, miközben arról is beszélt, nem érti, hogy az Európai Tanácsban a többi tagállam miért nem reagál erre.

A Euronews tudósítása szerint a politikus arról is beszélt, hogy Budapesten nagy befolyásuk van az oroszoknak. Mint mondta, naponta születnek cikkek arról, mekkora veszélyt jelent Oroszország a régióra, de arról senki nem beszél, hogy ebben részt vesz egy uniós ország is.

A politikus beszélt arról is, mekkora teret nyert Magyarországon a félrevezetés, a manipuláció. „Mindössze tíz évre volt szükség a félrevezetés kiépítéséhez, és ez számomra elképesztő. A legutóbbi választásokat a Fidesz két dologra építette. Az első az volt, hogy a kormány elhitette az emberekkel, hogy az Európai Unió fiatal magyarokat küldene a háborúba, Ukrajnába. A második teljes képtelenség volt arról, hogy az Európai Unió az iskolás gyermekek nemének megváltoztatására készül.

Számomra hihetetlen az, hogy ennyire elképesztő információ létezhet és terjedhet egy országban, és ezt tényleg elhiszik az emberek

– mondta az uniós politikus a beszélgetésen.

Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield végül arról beszélt, hogy az unió elkésett azzal, hogy minderre reagáljon, és attól tart, hogy Magyarországon ezt a folyamatot már nem lehet visszafordítani. Szerinte csak annyit tudnak tenni, hogy megakadályozzák, hogy mindez a többi tagállamra is átterjedjen. Hozzátette, ez visszaköszön az Európai Parlament tavaly elfogadott állásfoglalásában is, amelyben arról írtak, hogy Magyarország már nem működő parlamenti demokrácia, hanem hibrid rezsim.

A rendezvényen többek között felszólalt még Karácsony Gergely, Budapest főpolgármestere, valamint Didier Reynders, az EU igazságügyi biztosa és a magyar Szabad Városok Szövetségének több polgármestere is. A főpolgármester az előző hétvégén már beszámolt arról, hogy a városba utazik, de azt nem mondta el, hogy pontosan miért.

EU politician: The Hungarian secret services have been leaking to the Russians for years

French Green Party politician Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, who is the European Parliament’s rapporteur on Hungarian affairs, made a serious claim on Tuesday. The EU politician said that, in his opinion, the Hungarian secret services leak certain data directly to the Russians.

The EP rapporteur participated in a panel discussion in Brussels. Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield explained that the political developments in Hungary are worrying not only from the point of view of corruption and democracy, but also because, in her opinion, the Hungarian special services are leaking to the Russians, which poses a serious security risk for the entire EU.

• the politician claimed during the conversation, while also talking about how he does not understand why the other member states in the European Council do not react to this.

According to Euronews, the politician also talked about the Russians having great influence in Budapest. As he said, articles are published every day about how much of a threat Russia poses to the region, but no one talks about the fact that an EU country is also involved in this.

The politician also talked about how widespread misdirection and manipulation has become in Hungary. “It only took ten years to build this misrepresentation, and that’s amazing to me. Fidesz built the last elections on two things. The first was that the government made people believe that the European Union would send young Hungarians to the war in Ukraine. The second was the complete incompetence that the European Union was preparing to change the gender of school children.

It’s incredible to me that such amazing information can exist and spread in one country and people actually believe it

said the EU politician during the conversation.

Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield finally spoke about the fact that the Union was late in reacting to all this, and she fears that this process cannot be reversed in Hungary. According to him, all they can do is to prevent this from spreading to the other member states. He added that this is echoed in the European Parliament’s resolution adopted last year, in which it was written that Hungary is no longer a functioning parliamentary democracy, but a hybrid regime.

Gergely Karácsony, mayor of Budapest, as well as Didier Reynders, EU justice commissioner and several mayors of the Association of Hungarian Free Cities also spoke at the event. The mayor already reported the previous weekend that he was traveling to the city, but did not say exactly why.
