A brit védelmi minisztérium vasárnap is közzétette hírszerzési jelentését.

A jelentés ezúttal arról írt, hogy az oroszok által részben megszállt, és az orosz jog szerint tavaly szeptember 30-án elcsatolt Zaporizzsja megyében a megszálló hatóságok rendeletet adtak ki, mely szerintMelitopol városát teszik meg a régió központjának.

Jevgenyij Balickij, a megye Moszkva által kinevezett vezetője azt mondta, ez csak átmeneti intézkedés, amíg a megye tényleges központja, Zaporizzsja városa nem kerül orosz fennhatóság alá.

Az orosz megszállóknak eddig még nem sikerült elfoglalniuk Zaporizzsja városát, egy békeidőben 700 ezer fő lakosú ipari központot. A település jelenleg mintegy 35 kilométerre található a frontvonaltól.

The British Ministry of Defense also published its intelligence report on Sunday.

This time, the report wrote about the fact that in the Zaporizhzhia county, which was partially occupied by the Russians and was annexed according to Russian law on September 30 last year, the occupying authorities issued a decree making the city of Melitopol the center of the region.

Yevgeny Balitsky, the Moscow-appointed head of the county, said it was only a temporary measure until the county’s actual center, the city of Zaporizhia, came under Russian control.

The Russian occupiers have not yet succeeded in occupying the city of Zaporizhzhya, an industrial center with a population of 700,000 in peacetime. The settlement is currently located about 35 kilometers from the front line.

The quiet designation of an alternative regional center may be a tacit admission on the part of Russia that its forces will most likely not be able to occupy the previously planned main targets in the near future.
